Kuching, straddling the Sarawak River also popularly known as ‘Cat City’ is the capital of Sarawak. The island of Borneo, the third largest land-mass in the world consists of the two east Malaysian states of Sarawak and Sabah, Brunei and Kalimantan Indonesia. Steeped in a history that is so recent that a visitor can almost reach out and touch it! From the ‘Wild Man of Borneo’ days pre the 1840’s it has evolved into a modern vibrant metropolis we know today without neglecting the rich history held therein.
