Only a small crowd of 29 turned up for this week’s run, where dogs and walkers outnumbered the runners. Buddy dog did a sloppy Land Mine on the trail – causing runners to step aside. Fortunately there were no false trails this week or some of us would have got lost on the way. For the energetic who tackled the 7km bush run, up and down rocky hills and thick scrub this was a real “back to the wildlife run” They zigzagged through long grass and navigated muddy creek beds close to Charles Darwin National Park before hitting the dusty trail, which eventually led them back to the car park and ice-cold beer.

BACK AT THE TRAILER
A bit of general confusion was had over the line up for the grub and a general winge about the lack of a trailer. But the food was worth the wait– Yummy Ham & Cheese on white bread and a choice of chilli sauce or hot English mustard!! (Where’s the wholemeal was the Gm’s beef)

The GM commented on the caliber of the run; stating that it was great & he’d much rather do a bush run any day, “ its back to the wildlife even though there were not enough hills and too many dogs.

DOWN DOWNS
Taxi ride, did a down down, although a few Hashers were not sure if she was a returning runner or a visitor. 

Fines - Furburger coped a fine for leaving a beer can on Rhino’s car last week & when asked to remove the can he tells Rhino to fuck off. Someone pipes up and says that Stakeout should be fined for his choice of attire. Guest was bagged out for her squeaky voice. The 200th run will form a sub committee the dates will be discussed soon.
Chook Fucker – Browneye – was not at Hash this week. Barb wire the current (filler inner) Hash Horn was missing in action with more important things to do this week.
