There are no rules in hash, but, there are some things you should be aware of:

1:    You hash at your own risk.  The Hash Committee takes no responsibility for you and/or your dependents/guests.

2:    You are responsible for your own dog.  You should control them before, during and after the run.

3:    Hashers to ensure that drivers remain within the legal limits.

Hash Trailer:  “Has been damaged.”

If you use the trailer and you damage it you repair it.

Until further notice the trailer will now be stored at 9 Clarke Crescent Rapid Creek so hares can collect it from there.  Organise the pickup time with the GM.  Collect the kegs and ice from the Darwin North RSL after 3pm, or 1500 as some people know it.

DO NOT PLACE THE ICE ON THE COILS UNLESS BEER HAS BEEN PASSED THROUGH THE PIPES.  RECENT WEEKS HAS SEEN THE WATER FREEZE IN THE PIPES.

After the run return any usable kegs to Darwin North RSL after 3pm, or 1500, on the Tuesday. Tuesday is emphasised so that any usable kegs can be placed in the cool room.  Clean trailer, run water through pipes to clean out old beer, clean utensils and return the trailer to 9 Clarke Crescent Rapid Creek.

Run 1798 – 26th February 2007

Special Note:  We have received a complaint for Parks and Wildlife about leaving tape after our runs.  This was directed towards a Casuarina run but we should take note of this for any future runs we may do through any Parks etc.

The Run:

The run was to start at the rear car park at Bunnings on Bagot Road.  There was no car park so the early arrivals found their own parking area.  When the hare did turn up he complained that the cars should have been parked a bit further on.

We headed off along the security fenceline towards the airport.  There was a check with a left hand turn towards McMillans Road with a right hand turn inside the fence line.  Another check had the pack heading across Osgood Drive towards the security fenceline with another turn towards the airport.  We ended up running past the Aviation Institute where some people thought there may be a piss stop.  On past the Airport Resort to then loop behind the resort and end up at a piss stop behind the basket ball courts.  From there it was a long run home.  And wasn’t it a long wet run home.  The anticipated rains appeared and bucketed down on the lot on us.  By the time everyone got back to the cars we all looked like drowned rats.  To make it worse the wind came up which then brought in the wind chill factor.  But, we were saved from having our beers diluted as the hare had arranged to use the undercover load area at Bunnings.

Score:  Venue and run gets the hare plus 2 the piss stop plus 1 distance to home minus 2 the rain plus 2 diluting beer minus 3 cold wind minus 3 providing shelter plus 2 buffalo plain & chilli snags plus 3 bread and butter plus 2. Score: 4

Other Matters;

Use of Commonwealth land or private property for setting Hash runs.

Any hares that are contemplating setting runs that may enter onto Commonwealth land are to rethink their run.  No runs are to enter onto Commonwealth property.  The same applies to private property.  If you want to use this area, then seek permission to do so.  If permission is granted then all is well otherwise stay away from the area.

Remember, there are no rules in Hash, but, other people do have them.
