Run 1915

Run 1915 - 01. June 2009

The LOCATION
East Arm Boat ramp

The RUN
Set by: Goose Willing and Grunter - Historical Run

Physio stuffed up the run directions on the last shit sheet because he looked at the map upside down. However, the pack were smart enough to turn left onto Casey road instead of right as directed by that hopeless navigator, Physio.

A reasonable pack of 31 gathered at the brand new East Arm boat ramp. Unfortunately the flash new street lights surrounding the ramp had not been connected so we had the food and the circle in the dark. (plus two dolphin torches)
Goose had some WW2 historical data about a 1944 secret operation that was launched from where we were going to have our piss stop.
The run left the boat ramp and followed the coast north towards the East Arm Port along dirt tracks and a bit of scrub. At 6.30 pm there was a wonderful piss stop of Bundy and coke and beer. The piss stop site was allegedly the site of the secret Z Force base from WW2 where the Krait was base before heading off to attack Japanese shipping in Singapore in 1944.
Your scribe believes that Gooses piss stop was really at Number one Catalina landing from WW2 and the actual Krait landing is just to the right of the old East Arm boat ramp.

BACK AT THE TRAILER
The last of the runners and walkers came home in the dark at about 7.20pm.
Hares, remember, the shortest day of the year is the 21st June and we don’t want anyone lost in the dark.

THE BOOZE
The Usual CUB Stubbies etc and no Trailer (and consequently no light)

THE CIRCLE

Jenset tells me we should call this year Gash Hash. So, on the third run of Gash Hash, our eminent GM, accompanied by his trusty Choir Master Gonzo called the Pack to order at about 7.30pm
The Hares were good enough to provide repellant for the Mozzies and Sandflies that abounded the area.

DOWN DOWNS
Steakout – New Runners.
Overseas Returners – Physio, Bones and Full Bottle –
All did their dip test. However, Sexon who also was an overseas returner was nowhere to be seen. (Females are supposed to dip a nipple)
Chook FuckerGoose – Had no nominations for the Chook so was given a down down. Physio loaned him a handle. Half way through his down down Goose realized it was the handle Physio had dipped in.
Returning Runners – Mormon, Furburger, Havasack and Jimmy.
Fines from the Run – Goose had a fine for Browneye and Sexon for doing the hard yards through the scrub on the way home instead of taking the road.
Visitors – Close Encounters from Sydney Harriettes.

The GM told a Swine Flu joke which everyone had heard before.
Steakout told a good joke about a frozen Galah.
The Circle finished about 1953hrs
The Tucker – Very nice sliced ham off the bone with fresh bread and three types of mustard
